Teresa Anne Breshears

February 20th, 1939-February 24th 2020

Teresa Anne Breshears, “Terry” passed away at Providence St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon from natural causes on February 24th, 2020. She had just celebrated her 81st Birthday. Terry was born in Oklahoma City but was raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended St. Philip Neri Catholic School and Atkinson Grade school in the Mt. Tabor area of Portland. She then attended Benjamin Franklin high school, Portland, Oregon and graduated in 1957. Terry taught dance at Arthur Murray and that is where she met her daughter’s Father. She gave birth to her daughter, Joanna, in 1960. Terry also did catalog and print ad modeling for Jantzen and Pendleton clothing lines. Later in her twenties she worked as a rental car agent at Francis Ford and met her Husband, Jack Breshears. She and Jack were married in 1970 and remained married until his death in 2003.

Terry worked as a shipping and documentation clerk until she retired. Terry liked to read and was involved in the Cat Fancy. By far her favorite thing to do was to dote on her Granddaughter, Jillian. Terry made sure that her Granddaughter had the fanciest outdoor play set and as she grew supported her Granddaughters’ competitive figure skating. Terry was predeceased in death by her Mother in 1980, Father in 2006 and her Husband Jack Breshears in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanna North, her son-in-law Jerry North and her granddaughter, Jillian North.

Terry will be laid to rest next to her Husband Jack at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
