On Thursday, May 21, 2020, Stephen B. Pulsinelli, loving father of four children, was ushered into heaven to be with Christ Jesus our Lord at the age of 86.
Born March 14, 1934 to Frank and Mary Pulsinelli in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Stephen moved to Oregon as a teenager. In 1953 he enlisted in the Army of the United States and served as a Tank Commander for the 2nd Platoon, Company “A” 759th Tank Battalion, stationed in Germany until 1956. He affectionately named his tank “Carolyn” after his wife, Carolyn (Jarman).
He retired from Boeing Commercial Airplanes - Portland March 2000 after a 42 year career with the Company.
Stephen had a passion for competition shooting, hunting and fishing. He especially loved combining these hobbies on camping trips with his much admired friends and family. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his compassionate spirit. Stephen was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing it with his friends and family.
Stephen is preceded in death by his grandsons Stephen J. Pulsinelli and Ian M. Vesik. He is survived by his beloved children Debra (John) Vesik, Susan (Dennis) Anderson, Stephanie (Jim) Stanhope, and Stephen J. Pulsinelli (Deb), eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, his sister Ann Dappen, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to current global health risks Stephens’s memorial service will be private.
