Roberta Ann Rist

Roberta Ann Rist, 58 of Fairview OR, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015. She was born on September 27, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to Howard and Darlene Rist. She graduated from David Douglas High School in 1974 and also graduated from Mt. Hood Community College, Life College of the Foursquare Church and George Fox University where she received her Bachelor Degree.

Roberta was a special education teacher at Troutdale and Fairview Elementary schools and also taught Kindergarten at East Hill Foursquare Church for five years. She was a former member of East Hill Foursquare Church and current member of The Chapel – a Foursquare Church in Troutdale, Oregon. Roberta enjoyed mission trips over the years to Guatemala and Arizona and loved painting and crafting.

Roberta is survived by her mother Darlene Rist of Fairview OR; brothers Rod Rist (Vicki) of Terrebonne OR, Rodger Rist (Leslie) of Boring OR, Rick Rist (Karen) of Gresham OR and Randy Rist (Sheryl) of Portland OR and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Roberta’s Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at The Chapel, 27132 SE Stark in Troutdale, Oregon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made as contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Golf Tournament c/o Technical Fabricators, PO Box 1343, Gresham OR 97030.
