She was born in 1934 to Albert and Goldie Bebb in Portland Oregon, and lived most of her life in and around the Gresham area. Crystal was the youngest of the 7 children in the Bebb family, all of which have preceded her in passing.
Crystal and Reuben L Peterson were married in 1952 and lived in Wood Village, Portland, Concord CA, and Gresham. Reuben died in 2016, she continued living at their longtime Gresham home until 2019 and since then at Huntington Terrace assisted living in Gresham.
Crystal along with husband Reuben, his sister Bettie Chaney, and brother-in-law Ray Chaney founded Gresham Toyota in 1970 which remained a family operated business until 2012.
She enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, and fishing trips with their many lifelong friends. They had many fun times in the San Juan Islands and at their second home of 30+ years on Pine Hollow Reservoir in Wamic OR where they were always hosting friends and family. She and Reuben spent several warm winters in Arizona and Palm Springs too. Crystal loved gardening around the home and had some amazing roses. She was an accomplished porcelain artist leaving the family with many great mementos.
Crystal is survived by her son David Peterson of Boring, her 2 Granddaughters Jennifer Snuggs and Kristin Partridge of Gresham, and 5 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her family.
