William C. Clark, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was a member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church and was retired from Charles Alley and Associates. He loved racing stock cars in his younger days and won many races and trophies at Razorback and Tristate Speedways back in the day. He coached the men’s and coed “Razorbacks” softball teams for many years at Ben Geren Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Margaret Clark; his wife, Sharon Ann Clark; a sister, Wanda Jean Ruffin and a son-in-law, Roger Davis.
He is survived by a son, Randy Clark of Fort Smith; one daughter, Lisa Davis of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Amanda Mack, Kayla Clark, Joe Clark, Ryan Davis and Trent Davis and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 12 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be all the “Razorbacks” softball players.
