Virgle Hicks

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in the Greenwood First Baptist Church with interment at Dawson Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jeremy Hicks, Travis Bunn, Jason Stallings, Ryan Bascue, Houston Kennedy, and Christopher McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren and the members of the Clyde Holland and Jane Anderson Sunday school classes of the Greenwood First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Delma Faye of the home; two sons, Olen Hicks and wife, Frankie, of Blanchard, OK and Douglas Hicks of the Rye Hill Community; five daughters, Janet Reeder and husband, Phillip, of Lake Jackson, TX, Brenda Blaylock and husband, Jerry, of Fort Smith, Sheila Geels of Greenwood, Charlotte Bascue and husband, Dale, of Riverton, WY, and Shirley McDaniel and husband, Kenny, of Hartford, AR; a brother, James Hicks and wife, Barbara, of Van Buren, AR; a sister, Mariene White of Greenwood; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
