Ronnie Lynn Rogers, 60, of Cedarville, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Rheem, and a veteran of the U.S. Army and Vietnam War, and a member of the Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26 at the Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry, with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Rogers of the home; two daughters, Dawn Winford of Van Buren, and Jennifer Parker of Rudy; two sons, Shawn Rogers of Hackett, and James Rogers of Cankton, LA; two brothers, Jerry Rogers of Jenny Lind, and Eddie Rogers of Mulberry, thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Rogers, Shawn Rogers, Gary Young, Giles Oliver, Henry Smith, and Elliott Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department.
