She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lewis Cumbie; a brother, Billy Thomas and one grandchild.
Graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Cumbie of the home; a son, Robert H. Cumbie of Alma; a daughter, Teresa ReNae Mize of Huntington; two brothers, Wade Thomas, and James Thomas; four sisters, Melba Peterson, Maxine Brown, Norma Dean Thomas, and Deborah Thomas; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Peachtree Hospice, 2910 Jenny Lind #4, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
