Johnny Allen Bascue, 73, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 in his home. He was born December 1, 1950 in Mulberry, Arkansas to James Robert and Minnie (Collins) Bascue. He was retired from Tyson.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Bascue; three sons, James Bascue and wife, Kelly of Greenwood, Marion Bascue and wife, Billie Jean of Huntington and Robert Bascue of Huntington; two brothers, Marion Odell Bascue and wife, Diane of Mulberry and Billy Jack Bascue and wife, Gretchen of Midland; three grandchildren, Derek, A.J. and Thomas and one great grandchild, Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Little John and Thomas Bascue and his siblings, David, S.R., Doug and Jerry Bascue and Fern Brown.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 23 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Valley View Cemetery in Excelsior. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Marion Bascue, James Bascue, Billy Jack Bascue, Robert Bascue, Thomas Bascue and Billy Goines.
