Elmer Ray Russell

Elmer was an installer for Sears for nineteen years. A quiet man, he devoted his life to his wife, family and five dogs.

Elmer is survived by Ramona, his loving wife of 58 years; daughter, Peggy McMullen and husband, Terry of Fort Smith; granddaughter, April Garza of Austin Texas; grandson, Scott Russell of Texarkana, Arkansas; great grandsons, Milo Garza and Karson Russell; brother, Dick Russell and wife, Bonnie of Pocola; brother, Dr. Jerry Russell and wife, Gayle of Corinth, Texas; sister, Anna Mae Steen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Dixie Turner and husband, Danny of Caledonia, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Russell of Roland, Oklahoma and La Mae Russell of Fort Smith and ex son-in-law, Chuck Broadus of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Elmer was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Wasson of Texarkana, Texas, four brothers and one sister.

Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on August 6 at Church of the Nazarene on Highway 10 in Greenwood.
