Elaine Williams, 73, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 in Barling. She was born July 16, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Finis Edward and Ruby Marie (Sindle) Stockdale. She was retired from Mercy Hospital after 33 ½ years of service.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Gish and wife, Kayla of Hartford; two brothers, Randy Stockdale of Huntington and Curtis Martin of Hartford; one sister, Pamela Miller of Midland; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cecelia "Cookie" Martin.
The family will have a private memorial service. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
