Carol E. Pierce

Carol E. Pierce, 70, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in McAlester. She worked in maintenance Westwood Elementary Public School and member of the Lighthouse Christian Center of Eufaula, Oklahoma.

A family led memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10 at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Eufaula. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Ellis and her husband, Bernard of McAlester; a sister, Norma Grober of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Branton Clark of Choctaw, Jessica Tinker and her husband, Jason of Choctaw, Sabrina Ellis of McAlester, Adrian Ellis of Paris, Texas and Jasmine Ellis of Grant, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren, Logan, Kylee, Carson, Penelope, Paige, and Paul; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, Benjamin Ledbetter and Edna L. Griffin; a brother, Myron (Sonny) E. Ledbetter and two sisters, Marion Beaty Milam and Mary Parks.
