Billy Joe Bolton

Billy Joe Bolton, 74, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was retired and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Dayton Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Liana Bolton; one son, Todd Bolton and wife, Susie of Mansfield; one daughter, Tiffany Hicks and husband, Jimmie of Elk Grove, CA; two brothers, Lee Bolton, Jr. of Fort Smith and Jerry Bolton and wife, Connie of Mansfield; two sisters, Carolyn Myers of Alma and Melinda Ramey and husband, Steve of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Mariah Smith and husband, Garon, Makayla Bolton, Trayvon and Jaydon Hicks; two great grandchildren, Spencer Bolton and Axel Smith; special family, Al and Kerri Galvin and daughters, Landree, Lilian and Lauryen; father-in-law, Emery Lee McGehee; sisters-in-law, Lisa Thames and Michele DeAugustine and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Jessie Bolton and three brothers, Harold, Donald and Robert Bolton.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 25 at Dayton Church of Christ under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. After the service, the family will visit with family and friends. Inurnment will be at Steep Hill Cemetery at a later date.
