Billie Colleen “Lee” White, 90, of Branch, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 with her son by her side. She was born September 8, 1933 in Hartford, Arkansas to Roy E. and Ida Mae Long.
A gypsie by her own admission, she had traveled to nearly 22 countries and all 50 states in her lifetime. She was the embodiment of the Johnny Cash song, “I’ve Been Everywhere”.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sue “Susie” Hopper. She is survived by her son, Bryan White and wife, Beatrice; her sister, Delores Mehdizadeh; her son-in-law, Frankie Hopper and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, April 29 at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Witcherville with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Bryan White, Jason White, Ed Black, Jack Allen, B.J. Hopper and Brandon Woodrome. Honorary pallbearers will be Jude Woodrome, Behr Woodrome, Oscar Woodrome, Noah Black and Jonathon Allen.
