Eleanor Kelleher

It is with great sadness that the family of Eleanor Kelleher, age 100, announce her passing on September 27th, 2024 after complications from pneumonia. It was only 20 days earlier we gathered together to celebrate Ellie's 100th birthday, she held court to 60 people and was so happy. She was held dear and loved by so many still at her age.

Eleanor was born to the late Santo and Angelina Telerico on September 9th, 1924. She lived her entire life in Greenwich, CT.

Ellie was a positive influence on everyone she met, with her acceptance and her wit. She was described as the perfect combination of class and sass. Her insight to life will be carried forward by her children, Frank (Susie) Kelleher of Schwenksville, PA., Thomas Kelleher of Hudson, N.H., and Kim (Robert) Bronski of Trumbull CT. Ellie was loved dearly by her grandchildren, Allison (Leo) Hawkins of London, England, Lindsay Kelleher of Chicago, IL., Robert (Kali) Bronski of Trumbull, CT., Christopher (Jaime) Bronski of Orange, CT. They all have taken away her wisdom and her sass. Eleanor had one great grandchild, Robert Bronski III. She is also survived by one brother, Samuel (Gail) Telerico of Greenwich, CT., as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Kelleher and her grandson Matthew Bronski. Matthew and Eleanor shared a special bond and are now reunited. Eleanor was also predeceased by her brothers, Peter ( Yolanda) Telerico, and Joseph (Faith) Telerico and her sisters Marie (Walter) Olliver and Susan (Robert) Hoppe.

Funeral services will be held on October 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 31 Arch St., Greenwich, CT., followed by 11:00AM mass at St Michael Church, 469 North St., Greenwich, CT., followed by the burial at St Mary Cemetery, 35 Parsonage Rd, Greenwich, CT 06830.
