Tony was a good man he came by all the time at Goodyear on Pelham rd. And we all enjoyed his company and he will be greatly missed and we want the family to know we appreciate his service , friendship and know his memories thank you  (tony)

Served with Tony in Company G, Marine Support Battalion, Puerto Rico around 1966-1969. Rest In Peace, Marine. Semper Fi. Condolences to his family.

We served with Tony in Puerto Rico at Company "G", Marine Support Battalion, Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico from 1965 to 1967. Tony was one of the most popular Marines in our entire unit. Universally respected,  friendly with everyone, very highly thought of by all. We will miss him. Last saw him at a MCCA (Marine Corps Cryptologic Association) reunion in 2002 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He will be missed by all. Semper Fi, Marine, and Rest In Peace, Tony.

What fond memories of serving with Tony in Edzell, Scotland in 1982-1983 (or ‘84). A great friend and role model, uniformly respected and admired by all the troops. I often tell the story of how Tony broke his tail-bone: in typical Tony style, we were determined to go “celebrate with our Marines” one evening and had to climb the security fence separating the base ops area from the housing area to do so. We were in our Evening Dress uniforms, which are neither water-proof nor designed for climbing chain-link security fences. Because it was raining/sleeting (hey, it’s Scotland!), as Tony cleared the fence top and dropped to the other side, his feet (dress shoes) shot out from underneath him and he landed forcefully on his butt. Howling in pain but undeterred, he eventually recovered enough for us to walk the remaining few yards to the Enlisted Club and celebrate with other Marines. It wasn’t until the next day that he found out the fall broke his tail bone (coccyx). He carried his medically-issued “doughnut” seat around with dignity! A helluva guy. Deepest condolences to Griselle, Thomas,  and the entire family.

A group of us who all served with Tony in the mid-60's were planning to visit him in November.  Our goal was to celebrate this year's Marine Corps Birthday and rehash our days in Japan.   We will always remember Tony as a good man and a great Marine.  

Tony, a great guy, who was easy going, friendly, athletic, polite, and had a great smile that would light up the room. This picture of him reminds me of " An Officer and a Gentleman" and he truly was a gentleman ( actually both). 

Tony had dinner in our home with us and another couple in late April. We spent the evening talking, laughing, reminiscing, eating, and  enjoying being together. That will be a lasting good memory for us.

To Tony's family, we are so sorry for your loss and know how much you will miss him. Hold onto your good memories.
