A lifelong resident of Greenville, South Carolina, Gregg is survived by his wife Mary Leslie Anderson and his parents Stuart Gregg Anderson, Jr. and Frances Daniels Anderson. He is also survived by his brother Francis Miller Anderson, Mary Leslie’s parents Harold Jackson Key and Mary Sue Ross Key, his sister-in-law Meredith Key Conroy, his brother-in-law Donald Ross Key (Erika), and his nieces and nephews: Margaret Alice Conroy, Caroline Evelyn Conroy, Francis Miller Anderson, Jr., Abigail Leslie Conroy, and Benjamin Edward Conroy.
Gregg graduated from J.L. Mann High School in 1994 and the College of Charleston in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Founding Anderson Restoration, Inc. in 2004, he excelled at project management, maintained keen attention to detail, and possessed natural abilities for designing and constructing beautiful, functional spaces. The success of Gregg’s business was built upon his ability to develop deep, meaningful relationships with everyone he encountered while making them feel their priorities were the most important. Whether you were a family member, friend or client, Gregg thrived on helping others and was relied upon by many.
Gregg was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed supporting both culinary and fine arts with his wife, and loved spending his time with family and friends at the lake and the beach. He had great affection for animals, especially rescues. He was preceded in death by his fur babies Sir Oscar of Cureton, Penelope and Skippy Scoops, and survived by Fluffy and Millie.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Episcopal 10 N. Church St. Greenville, SC 29601 on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the church.
