It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Sandra Diane Gilmer of Greenville, SC on Dec. 31,2021. She was 77 years old.
December 28,1944 a beautiful woman with an incredible sense of humor was born. Diane was an excellent cook, a mender of skinned knees and healer of wounded hearts. Diane loved music, singing at church and in a bluegrass band, her beloved pets but most of all, she loved us. We will miss her deeply.
Diane is remembered by her husband of 58 years Kenneth Wayne Gilmer. Her children Sandra Adorno, Greg Gilmer with wife Sarah and Phillip Gilmer with wife Susan. Diane’s brother Jerry Johnson with wife Elizabeth. Grandchildren Leanne, Mario, Marilyn, Meghan and Preston. Great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Anthony, Ivy and Landon.
Diane is reunited with her parents Bennett Johnson and Erma Johnson as well as both of her sisters Linda and Charlotte.
