Robert Eugene Lee, 76 of Greenville, SC. Born in Newport, TN. Died Aug. 25 at home. A native of Newport, TN. Son of the late Stephen Allen and Zora Goodnough Lee. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and The U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Sylvia J. Lynn Lee of the home. One son, Burton G. Lee (Robyn), one daughter, Bonnie Bishop (Randy) and two grandchildren, Zachary Bishop and Ella Jane Lee. Also surviving one brother, Fred Lee and one sister, Helen Bush of Newport, TN and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lee was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Northgate Baptist Church located at 633 Summit Dr, Greenville, SC 29609 with Rev. Dr. Barry Jimmerson officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
