She was born on October 13th, 1944 in Dixie, Alabama, the daughter of Robert Donald Gullatte, Sr. and Evelyn Davis Gullatte.
She attended Dixie High School and Auburn University.
She is survived by her husband, William James Britt of Simpsonville, SC and their children, Kassandra Elizabeth DeFranco and her husband Peter also of Simpsonville, SC, as well as their son J Britt and his wife Dawn of Columbia, SC and her three grandchildren, Lottie, Stella, and Luna.
Mr. & Mrs Britt called Greenville their home from 1972 until moving to Indiana in 1991.
They were members of First Baptist Church of Greenville during that time, and returned to the Upstate in 2014. She was a devoted Mother and active in her community, serving as president of the PTA, member of The Greenville Junior League, a director of the Original SAIL Swim Meet Championships, and a Girl Scout Leader. She loved to garden, decorate and spend time with her family and friends.
