Mildred is survived by her son Milton Pittman and her brother Bobby J. Lister (Dianne) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Cohen "Bud" Pittman; her dad and mom Vaught and Alta Mae Dill Lister; her brothers Golden, Fred, James C., Boyd, and Clifton Lister.
Mildred was a devoted and faithful friend who cared deeply for others. Nothing pleased her more than to help a friend or family member in need.
She was married to the love of her life Bud for over 60 years. They were hard workers especially in the summertime planting gardens that produced plenty of vegetables to share with neighbors and family.
Mildred was the only girl in her family of 6 brothers. Her brothers could make life hard for their little sister but she always stood her ground with them. She loved each one dearly and always looked out for their best interest; whether they liked it or not.
A funeral service for Mildred will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Tyger Baptist Church in Taylors, SC.
