Martha Peace Fleury was born in Pickens, SC on August 10, 1934 and grew up in Greenville, SC. She passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 88. After attending Parker High School and raising her children, Martha found a new calling as a beautician. Her hobbies included painting as well as making ceramic figurines and dolls.
Martha is survived by her husband Thomas L. Fleury and her sister Glenda & Ron Jordan. Also, her children Billy & Tracy Fleury, Johnny & Lori Fleury, Tammy & Rick Rackley, Scott & Kelly Fleury and Beth Henson. Martha was blessed to have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents Velmer and Lily-Mae Peace.
A visitation for Martha will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
