Mark Anderson Kay

He was the son of Charles Spurgen Kay and Marian Rodrigues Kay.

He was an Air Force veteran who served a tour in Korea. He attended Piedmont High School in Charlotte, NC and was a Clemson College graduate.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna Catherwood Kay; his son David Anderson Kay (Janice); 4 grandchildren, Erica (Eli), Garrett (Taryn), Morgan (Austin), Raegan and 2 great grandchildren Grayson and Ryleigh.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Carol Kay Tamaras, grandson David Anderson Kay II and a sister Dr. Charlotte Kay.

Mark was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, was a Deacon, on many committees and sang in the choir and ensemble.

He was a registered mechanical engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina.

A Visitation for Mark will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at White Oak Baptist Church, 1805 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29609, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
