Linda Harris Regan Honeycutt of Greenville, SC born May 25th, 1946, went to her eternal home in heaven with Jesus, February 6th, 2024, at 77 years of age. She had one deceased child, William Dean Honeycutt.
Linda was married to Larry Honeycutt and lived in Amarillo, Texas for several years until moving back to Greenville, SC. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, a job she thoroughly loved, as caring for others in need was one of her greatest passions. Not only was she a cancer survivor of 17 years, but a thriver. She lived life to the fullest loving and serving her family and caring for others in need. Any opportunity she had, she would with eagerness and great joy, tell others how the Lord healed her of cancer, making sure He got all the glory and boldly testifying about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She remained active in attending and serving in church, studying her Bible, shopping, traveling, and attending all the sporting events and activates she could of her grand and great-grandchildren, she was their biggest fan. A woman of persistence and patience, who loved Jesus and was such an amazing example of his forgiveness, she willingly worked with her hands caring for and helping others, providing for her family, her lamp of love and prayers for her family did not “go out by night”, with the law of kindness on her tongue, clothed with strength and honor, who is now rejoicing in her time to come, in heaven as her faith is made sight. But we know and honor her best as our sweet mama, dearly loved, not only a survivor but fighter and a thriver, who loved us so well, leaving a legacy of faith and love for us to follow, simply always there for us and we will dearly miss her. And now we rise up and call her blessed and with great assured hope and joy look forward to seeing her again in heaven. `
A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church, with a service to follow.
