Dr. Leslie "Bud" Harlan Lyles

Bud, at the age of sixteen, gave his life to Jesus Christ and for seventy-four years, dedicated his life to the preaching of the Gospel, impacting thousands of lives.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy J. Lyles; his children, Valerie Thompson, Leslie “Buddy” Lyles, and Jonathan Lyles; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jack Lyles.

Bud is predeceased by his son, Robert Lyles; his daughter, Sheryl Alsup; his brother, Robert Lyles; and his parents, Allen and Cora Belle Lyles.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 2:00 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 27th from 5:00-7:00 pm, and also prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00-2:00 pm.

A committal will follow the service at Graceland East Memorial Park.
