June Wise Smith

June was a lifelong resident of Batesburg, South Carolina and was a member of First Baptist Church, Batesburg, SC.

June is survived by two daughters: Vickie Taylor (Dr. John Taylor) and Diane Myers (Dr. William Myers) of Charlotte, NC; one son: Donnie Smith (Melissa Turner Smith) of Greenville, SC; in addition, five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

The family is very grateful for the devotion, kindness and love shown by the staff and friends at Palmettos of Mauldin, where June lived since August 2014.

Many thanks are also extended to Regency Hospice in Greenville for their kindness and excellent care shown to June in the last few weeks of her life.

A visitation and celebration of June’s life will be held today, Friday, November 17, 2017, at the home of Jennifer and Jim Farish, 306 Crescent Avenue, Greenville, SC from 4:00- 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, 810 Maxwell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646.
