Joyce Ann Pace

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd G. Price and Helen Pearl Price. Joyce was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church, Cleveland, SC.

Joyce was a Class of 1979 graduate of Wade Hampton High School. She worked in many different sewing halls alone side of her mother Pearl. She worked for Piedmont Skills in Berea, SC and also traveled between North and South Carolina as a courier.

She was an avid collector of antiques, served in different ministries at church, enjoyed pampering time, coloring and "doodling" but most of all she LOVED being a "YaYa" to her grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years, Larry Michael Pace. Also proceeded in death: (Father) Lloyd Price, (Mother) Helen Pearl Price, (Sister) Mary Alice Price, (Brother) Lloyd G. Price Jr, (Grandfather) Pete Mintz, (Grandmother) Delia Hendrix Mintz and (Father In Law) James Larry Pace.

Joyce is survived by her son Joey Bruton (Amanda Bruton) of Simpsonville, SC and her daughter Jodie Bowman (Pastor Daniel Bowman) of Simpsonville, SC.

Also surviving are 6 grandchildren that were her world; Morgan Bruton, Xander Bruton, Ally Bowman, Mason Lopez, Jaxson Lopez, Caden Bruton, and a well thought of young lady Brailyn MacLean.

Also to cherish her memory is her mother in law Rita Holcombe Pace of Taylors, SC; sister in law Teri Pace (Dan Shobe) of Fountain inn, SC; brother in law Eric Pace (Tammy Pace) of Gaffney, SC; brother in law Kevin Pace (Tresa Pace) of Lyman, SC and many nieces/great nieces and nephews/great nephews.

A very special and well thought of young man that helped her tremendously, Ryan Riddle and his precious mother, Amber Riddle. Her beloved fur baby, Mendrix will be cared by the Riddle Family.

The family will have a visitation for Joyce held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

The funeral service will be held the following day Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
