Joe Thomas Allen

Joe was a veteran of the Unites States Army Air Corps and served during World War II. While in service, he obtained a CPA degree from the University of Rome, Italy.

Joe was at one time a partner in Alexanders on North Pleasantburg. He was founder of JTA Factors.

Joe was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church, Greenville and former member of Augusta Heights Baptist Church.

Joe is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Hartsell Allen; step daughter Taney Creamer (Terry); and step daughter Lisa Lee; grandchildren Mark Allen (Amy), Megan Nash (Mark), Katelyn Hall (Joel),Bruce Creamer, Trey Creamer (Cameron), Ashley Rhinehart, Emily Lee and Kayla Lee. Also surviving Joe are 8 great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

Joe was preceded in death by his first wife Willene Enloe Allen; son Joe Timothy Allen; father Vernon Allen and mother Hilda Drummond Allen; three sisters Margaret; Linda; and Jean and brother William Allen.

A visitation for Joe will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM in The Chapel at Mackey at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
