Jo Ann was married to Joseph Lee Allen, Sr. for almost 55 years. She was a devoted member of Heritage Bible Church, Greer, SC and enjoyed camping, hiking and yard work. She worked for 46 years as a secretary in the admissions department and other departments at Bob Jones University.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Allen; children: Joey Allen (Susan), Jonathan Allen and Jeannie Allen; grandchildren: Cayce Ann Collins (Carter), Emma June Allen, Joseph Stuart Allen, Heather Faith Allen; brother, Glenn E. Martin (Judy) of Loxley, Alabama; and niece, Amy Murphy (Aaron).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 at Heritage Bible Church, Greer, SC followed by a burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends before the service from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bob Jones University or Heritage Bible Church, Greer, SC.
