Helen D. Blair

Helen was a faithful member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and formerly of St. Mark UMC for many years and was retired from Cone Mills and Union Bleachery in Greenville.

She was predeceased by first husband, Jack D. Marchbanks; brothers Otis, Clay “Buck”, and Ralph Dodd.

Survivors are daughters, Carol Marchbanks Kinney and husband Jimmy, and Terry Marchbanks Bramlett; stepson Dr. E. Dean Blair and wife Anne; stepdaughter, Diane Blair Usry and husband Hank; grandchildren, Blakely and Taylor Bramlett, Gregory Blair and wife Andrea, Robert and Sara Beth Barnett; and 2 great-grandchildren, Ariella and Gabriel.

The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation for the caring support from Homestead Hospice.

Funeral service Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Aldresgate UMC. Visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate UMC, 7 Shannon Dr., Greenville, SC 29615.
