She and her deceased husband William Thomas Henderson Jr were co-owners of Alpine Frame Shop on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors, SC for many years.
Surviving are two (2) children William Thomas Henderson III (Janice) of Greer, SC & John Leland Henderson of Easley, SC. Four (4) grandchildren, Will Henderson (Debbie) of Greenville SC, Jennifer Henderson Willis (Jeremy) of Simpsonville SC, John L. Henderson (Marlene) of Greenville, SC, and Katlin Henderson Carbaugh of Spartanburg, SC. Eleven (11) great grandchildren: Madeline Henderson, William Henderson , Thomas Henderson, Anna Kate Henderson, Abby Willis, Weston Willis, Jacob Carbaugh, Lilly Carbaugh, Hailey Carbaugh and Sofia Henderson; one step great grandchild, Jaxon Carbaugh. She was predeceased by a daughter, Constance Ann Henderson Price, a brother John Donald Elkes and three (3) sisters, Pauline Elkes Pfosi, Betty Elkes Chambers and Irene Elkes Ward.
The family would like to thank all the healthcare employees at Foothills Retirement Community as well as the Lutheran Hospice nurses for the care of our mother.
Private services will be held at a later date to be determined.
