Daniel Gary Rose

Danny was a loving husband to his late wife Catherine McClellan Rose. Danny was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 50 years. He was a faithful Deacon, choir member and Sunday school teacher. He served the youth and elderly with all his heart. Danny always found it an honor to help care for the facilities at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Danny was an employee of Michelin for over two decades.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rose Taylor (Pastor Dustin Taylor); his granddaughters, Emily Rose Taylor and Lauren Nicole Taylor; his sister Sharon Rose Nunes (Rev. Milton Nunes) his brother, Rev. Terrill Rose (Adriana); Danny is predeceased by his brother, Mike Rose; his brother-in-law, Steve McClellan (Susie); his sister-in-law Kristi McClellan Giddens (Keith); 11 nephews and 1 niece. Danny is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Danny McClellan.

A funeral service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:30 PM, visitation prior to service at 12:30 PM. The family will receive friends the evening before the service on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Mackey Funerals & Cremations Century Drive. A committal will follow the service on Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
