Colvin Earl Vaughn

Colvin was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served during World War II. Colvin was a proud Police Officer for the city of Greenville SC for 38 years. He and his wife of 67 years, Ruby Vaughn, are members of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Colvin is survived by his wife, Ruby Good Vaughn; son Colvin Eugene Vaughn (Denise); daughter Janice Vaughn Mauldin (Jackie); and daughter Sharon Vaughn Ayers (Greg); grandchildren; Jennifer Trammell Hawkins, Ryan Trammell, Natalie Trammell Clayton, Lauren Vaughn, Chad Ayers, Blake Ayers, Brent Ayers and Chandler Ayers. Also surviving Colvin are eight great grandchildren.

Colvin was preceded in death by; daughter Rebecca Vaughn; father Jesse Lee Vaughn and mother Mamie Ross Vaughn; brothers; Lewis Vaughn, Perry Vaughn, Ralph Vaughn, sisters: Helen Sighter, Stella Adams and Louise Banks.

A visitation for Colvin will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A private burial will occur Thursday, May 10, 2018.
