Catherine McClellan Rose

Catherine was a loving wife, mother, nana, and sister who adored her family. She met her devoted husband Daniel when she was 16, and together, they shared 42 years of marriage. Catherine was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for 32 years, and she was a servant of God who taught 4th grade students at Tabernacle Christian School for 15 years. She was a dedicated member of the McAllister Sunday School Class.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Daniel Rose; her daughter, Stephanie Rose Taylor (Rev. Dustin Taylor); her granddaughters, Emily Rose Taylor and Lauren Nicole Taylor; her brother, Steve McClellan (Susie McClellan); her father- and mother-in-law, Rev. Dr. James W. Rose and Nancy Rose; her sister, Kristi Giddens (Keith Giddens); her brother-in-law, Rev. Terrill Rose (Adriana Rose); her sister-in-law, Sharon Rose Nunez (Rev. Milton Nunez); 11 nephews and 1 niece.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is predeceased by her brother, Danny McClellan.

A funeral service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville on Saturday, July 21st at 2pm. The family will receive friends the evening before the service on Friday, July 20th from 6:00-8:00pm at Mackey Funerals & Cremations Century Drive. A committal will follow the service on Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
