DUNCAN-SC--Carol Elizabeth Wilson, age 66, of Duncan, SC, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 2, 2012 in her home. She was born on June 11, 1945 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Thomas Stewart Sr and Virginia Byers. Carol was a loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 49 yrs Curtis E. Wilson, her daughters Cindy Bowling and her husband Richard of Duncan, SC and Denise Roof and her husband Ed of Duncan, SC. Her grandchildren Amber Wilson, Cortni Bowling and Michael Mayfield, her granddaughter Jaylin Wilson, her sisters Lavada Nabors, Linda Machie, Joann Lovin and Sybil Clark.
She is predeceased by her parents, brother Dr. Thomas Stewart Byers Jr. and her sister Sarah.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Cannon Memorial Park Funeral and Cremations in Fountain Inn. A Funeral Service celebrating Carol's life will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012, 2:00pm in the chapel at Cannon Memorial Park Funerals and Cremations. Entombment will follow at Cannon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
