Ann A. Norville

Ann A. Norville, 89, passed away peacefully in her home on November 12, 2024. She was a native of Morganton, North Carolina, born on April 12, 1935 to the late Mark and Helen Allman. She was predeceased by her sister, Kay Rose (Kenneth) and two nephews, Bryant and Kyle Rose.

Ann married Gene Norville in August 1952, her husband of 72 years. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Gail Davis (Bobby) and two grandchildren, Kelly Davis Northington (Brad) and grandson, Kevin Davis. She was blessed with three great grandchildren, Ellis and Jack Northington, and Wyatt Davis.

She graduated from secretarial school in Charlotte, NC. After her move to Greenville, SC with her husband she was employed at the former First Federal Savings and Loan, Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co., and retired from the district office of Greenville County Schools with 21 years of service. She was a faithful member of Greer First Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank our very special caregivers, Ingrid Henderson and Melissa Kirksey for their amazing care, love and devotion to mother during her time of illness.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Chapel. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial following in the Serenity Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
