Angeline V Koutroulias

Angeline "Keeke" Vourlas Koutroulias passed away on September 14, 2019 at Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, NC and Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville, SC. She was born in Portsmouth, VA. on September 20, 1922 to her late parents, Efstathios "Thom" and Drousoula Vourlas. She met and married her one true love of fifty-two years in Norfolk, Va., while he served in the U. S. Navy, during World War II.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband George Nick Koutroulias, her son Nick, her son-in-law Tommy Hartis, her brother Nick Vourlas and her sister Frances Murray.

She is survived by her son Stathe and daughter in law Mary Koutroulias of Spartanburg, SC, her daughter Mecia Hartis of Easley, SC, her sister Catherine Arakas of Asheville, NC and her sister-in-law Mary Vourlas of Norfolk, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Rolling Green Village for their kindness and loving care of Keeke.
