Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William Mercer and Calla Fariss Glenn.
Alice was a graduate of Greenville High School, class of 1943, and a charter member of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Roy A. “Butch” Scott, Jr. and Glenn Scott and his wife Nancy; daughter, Kitty Scott Williams and her husband Tommy all of Greenville; grandchildren, Grayson Colleran, Heather Scott, William Scott, Kathryn Williams Wallace and Scott Williams; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends all whom she loved and prayed for. She is preceded in death by her brothers, William and Frank Glenn; sisters, Fariss Glenn Howell and Anne Glenn Cunningham.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11am at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Curtis Dubose officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 until 11am and then following the service.
