Rev Terry Leon Walters

Rev. Terry was born July 19, 1957, in Franklin, Indiana, to Janice Lee (Sheffel) Stahl of Salem, Indiana, and the late Nolan Leon Walters. In addition to his father, Rev. Terry is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Leo & Edna (Waymire) Sheffel; and a half-sister, Tonya Hoffman.

Rev. Terry is survived by his children, Stephen Walters of Greenville, Thomas Walters of Springfield and Katherine (Jon) Klopf of Tipp City; grandchildren, Celeste Walters, Jonathan Walters, Kayla Klopf, Alexander Klopf, Lillian Klopf, Emma Walters, Penelope Walters, and Maxwell Walters; sisters & brothers-in-law, Penny (Billy) Chandler of Salem, Indiana, and Beth (Mark) Powell of Indianapolis, Indiana; and brothers & sister-in-law, Joseph (Karla) Walters of Union City, Ohio, and Mark Walters of Salem, Indiana.

Rev. Terry served in the U.S. Navy. He was an ordained minister since 1984. He Pastored churches in Troy, Celina and Pemberton, Ohio. Rev. Terry attended the Greenville Wesleyan Holiness Church. He was a FFC licensed amateur radio operator N8LBZ.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Greenville Wesleyan Holiness Church 201 Hall St. Greenville, with Rev. Rodney Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the church.
