Greg Price

Greg was born September 12, 1950, in Greenville to the late Lowell & Georganna (Haworth) Price. Greg was also preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Price; and sister-in-law, Alice Williams.

Greg is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen (Beck) Price whom he married February 27, 1974; son, Eric Hartzell; daughter & son-in-law, Emily & Eric Brenner and their children, Keihl & Owen Johnson, and Eric and Lucas Brenner; son, Errin Price & Annette Bradburn and her children, Gage, Kelsey, Hunter & Katie, Sadie & Isaiah, Hayden & Nyesha and Kaylin; siblings, Steve & Linda Price, Jim & Pam Price, Pam & Ron Beckner and Patty & Greg Spencer; in-laws, Dianna & Karl Keller, Harold & Barb Beck, Denice & Dale Carder, Mark & Roxanne Beck and Harvey Resnick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Greg was a 1969 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. Greg retired from Century Link in Greenville with 46 years of service and served as the local President of the IBEW. He was a member of the Greenville Elks Lodge. Greg enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at 10:30 am Monday, October 14, 2024, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
