Charles L. Garland

Charles L. “Charlie” Garland, age 75 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 5:16 PM at The Maria Joseph Living Care Center, Trotwood, Ohio. Born in Barbourville, Kentucky on August 4, 1945 he was one of 10 children to the late Maynard & Amanda (Gray) Garland. Charlie enjoyed going fishing, watching football, and watching wrestling with his brother. There wasn’t anything Charlie wouldn’t do for anyone. He was always more than happy to help someone out, and he was loved by many. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially those who called him “Uncle Charlie”. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Maxwell.

Survived by his siblings Alvin & Elizabeth Garland; Earl Garland; Ray & Carol Garland; Jerry Garland; Eddie Garland; JoAnn & Richard Perdue; Betty & AJ Yount; Jack Garland: nephew Nicholas Neal as well as numerous nieces and nephews: special friends Susan Waddel; Chester Meade; Charles Norris; Carlisa & Justin Leedom: and many more family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Sharpeye Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Arnold Wynn presiding.
