Steven Michael Lucas

Mr. Lucas graduated from Southern Guilford High School where he played football and baseball. He was a member of South Elm Baptist Church. He worked at Kersey Valley “Spooky Woods” and Greensboro Auto Auctions. He loved his two dachshunds, Peanut and Brittle. He loved shooting pool with his son and friends and also enjoyed doing go-kart racing and listening to NASCAR races. He was a former Member of Greensboro Moose Lodge 685 and Tar Heel Moose Legion 158.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marcus Tise and Edith Hiott, Aunt Kathy Lowe and Uncle Jimmy Tise.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Lucas; mother, Carolyn Shelton and stepfather Earl Shelton; father, Jimmie Lucas; brother, Jimmie Lucas Jr.; nephew Blake Lucas; and many other cousins and uncles.

A service to celebrate Stevie’s life will be held at two o’clock on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services (formerly Hanes Lineberry Vanstory) located at 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
