Stephen Marion Ellis

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407, with his dear friend, Bobby Hodges officiating.

Stephen was born in Greensboro, on June 22, 1946 to the late June Roy Ellis and Mildred Blackmon Ellis and was of the Christian faith. He retired from AB-Fab in 2001. Stephen enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his family and friends and most especially his grandchildren and great-grandson. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 40 years, Vicky Ellis; daughter, Misty George (Andy); sons, David Ellis and Andrew Moser; grandchildren, Tiffany Reaves (Alex), Joshua Ellis, Dylan George (Destiny) and Trenton Ellis; great-grandson (his newest blessing), Case Jaxon Eaton; sister, Paula Bates (Gary); brother, Mike Ellis; sister-in-law, Cheri Reaves (Jim); and other extended family and friends.
