She was a person of abounding energy and talent. She studied Fine Art at Guildford College and Real Estate Law at Greensboro College. She wrote delightfully entertaining children’s stories and poetry. She was a talented artist and painter of murals, landscapes, portraits, and abstracts using oils, acrylics and pastels. She designed, built and decorated many lovely homes.
She was graceful and athletic, enjoying tennis, biking, water skiing, snow skiing and especially dancing. Her favorite past time was spending time with her four grandchildren. As GiGi she was driver, coach, cheerleader and master baker and pastry chef. She attended many ballgames, dance recitals, and school events, always encouraging each child to do their best with each endeavor. She also took loving care of every family pet.
She is preceded in death by her parents Annie and Grover Brown, her brother Sunny Brown, and her husband Dudley Wells. She is survived by her three daughters Mary Britt, Barbara Brazer and her husband Scott, and Leigh Seager and her husband Carl.
She is also survived by her four grandchildren Katherine Brazer, Robert Brazer, Stephen Britt and Brandon Britt.
The family thanks the extraordinary caring staff at Carriage House Senior Living Community in Greensboro. We wish to also thank her devoted caregivers with Forever Young Home Care, the wonderful physicians and staff with Piedmont Senior Care and Greensboro Ophthalmology, and her remarkable hygienist, Michelle and the Norman Dental staff.
