Richard is survived by his wife Rachel, his 3 children, Justin and his girlfriend Luz, Christopher and his wife Gabby & Bailey Johnson, his 3 grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Tate & Millie, his brothers, Howard & Scott and his wife Michelle and his lifelong friend Eric Rode.
Richard is predeceased by his mother Barbara McClaren and his brother Brian Johnson.
Richard was born March 14, 1968 to Barbara McClaren & Howard Johnson. Born in Long Island, NY he moved to South Orange where he graduated from Columbia High School.
Richard worked for Bob's Auto Glass in Jersey City for over a decade before moving to North Carolina. He was a very creative and artistic person. His shop at Stokesdale Marketplace reflected his talents for finding unique items and his creativity in refurbishing the antiques he collected. He enjoyed being outdoors, antiquing, riding motorcycles and cheering for the NY JETS! (It's ok if you laugh). Richard touched many lives and he will be missed by all who knew him.
