Patrick James Summers

Patrick was born on June 25, 1953 in Greensboro, the son of James Thomas and Clara Mae Thompson Summers. He was a member of Elks Lodge #602 and served as a Boy Scout Leader.Patrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Those surviving are his wife of 33 years, Patricia Stone Summers of the home; son, Gavin James Summers of Greensboro, NC ; daughter, Amy Summers Green and husband David of Rocky Mount, NC; granddaughter, Lindley Addison Green and sister, Patricia Summers Badeau of Greensboro, NC and numerous other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev Jim Cates officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
