Patricia Ann Lyons

Mrs. Patricia Ann Lyons, 72, a resident of Pleasant Garden died Saturday April 18, 2015 at Moses H Cone Hospital. Patricia was born January 27, 1943 in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Burley Lee and Dorothy Cecilia Gooch Crowder.

She was a graduate of Page High School Class of 1961. She retired from Southern Bell after 20 years of service and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

On August 4, 1973 she was married to James David Lyons who preceded her in death on September 30, 2011.

She is survived by two daughters, Marsha L. Vazquez and husband Santos of Asheboro, Catherine Michelle Lyons of the home; one son, Jason David Lyons and wife Peggie of Greensboro; one brother, James Crowder of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Lee Clark, Brandi Clark, Chloe Christine Lyons, Amelia Ann Lyons and one great granddaughter, Abbie Leigh Greer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Ryan Crowder. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
