Pamela Boyer Markworth

There will be a visitation Thursday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Lawndale Baptist Church in the Chapel, Friday, June 4 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Pam was born May 19, 1950, in Johnstown, PA daughter of the late Gerald Boyer and Betty Hileman Boyer.

Pam was a former choir director and Sunday school teacher. She organized her local community to keep BFI from bringing a landfill site to the area. She was a member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church in Danville, VA. Pam was a realtor and worked at the City of Danville before her retirement. She was passionate about singing, crafting and her two sweet cats, Velvet and Blossom.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Lee. She is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Meirelles (Rodrigo), and by her devoted husband, Kevin Markworth.
