Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, 12:00 noon at Guilford Memorial Park with full Military Honors.
Oliver was born in Sampson County, NC on May 14, 1935. He served his country in the US Army 82nd Airborne. Upon completion of his service, he worked with the AM Varytiper Co. as a Regional Service Manager in the South East. Upon his retirement, Oliver worked with the Crown Nissan Company.
Oliver was a loving father and cherished the time he could spend with his family. He felt they were the most important part of his life.
Oliver is survived by his daughter, Jennifer R. Bell of Austin, TX; son, Jeffrey G. Bell of Greensboro, NC and step-daughter, Kathy Bell Vincent and husband William of Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the graveside service at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
