Nonnie Ruth Kirkpatrick

Ruth Kirkpatrick, a lifelong resident of Greensboro, passed away on March 26, 2025. She was born on November 4, 1928 to Clarence E. and Nonie Gilmore Kirkpatrick. She graduated from Greensboro Senior High School in 1945 and The Woman’s College of UNC in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science in Secretarial

Administration Degree. Ruth worked for North State Milling Company in Greensboro until retirement. She was a member of Moriah UMC.

Ruth was devoted to her family and made a loving impact on their lives. She was a wonderful aunt and is survived by nephews/nieces, Jim Kirkpatrick (Jane), Jody Efird, Kim Watson (Bob), Janice Kirkpatrick, Robin Seders (Mark), Kyle Kirkpatrick (Sandi), grandnephews, Jay, Jacob, Corey, Eric, Adam, Ian and great

nephews/nieces, Jeff, Eliza, Maggie, Cooper, Alexander, as well as honorary nieces & nephew, Pat Forrest, Eric Gauzza, and Andrea Langley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, James & Gerry Kirkpatrick, Dan & Barbara Kirkpatrick, infant sister Dottie, nephew Mack Kirkpatrick, and grandnephew John Kirkpatrick.

She will be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetery in a private service.
